Recently I witnessed the textbook example of a social media strategy with a goal to increase brand awareness, and to increase sales at the same time.  Here it is.

First the business showed a beautiful picture of their product (it was one of their art pieces) . This was on facebook. Here is the picture

Then they posted this below the picture:
